First off, I would like to thank all of the filmmakers and those who showed up to support this year's One-Take event. Over 60 people were in attendance to cheer on 18 brand spankin' new films! 13 of the films were from first time Super-8 filmmakers! Some even went above and beyond incorporating live performance and original soundtracks to accompany their work. We also had a special finale by Alexey VS & Michael Hentz.
We would also like to give a huge thanks to Funk n' Waffles for letting us monopolize their space and fueling everyone with coffee and tasty waffles.
I would also like to apologize to those who were watching the live broadcast. Something went squirrly with the audio, so I hope you at least were able to enjoy the visual. We will be digitizing the films this week and will hopefully have them posted to the Syracuse Experimental Film & Video site before too long.
